Questions, bug reports, or a rule that looks wrong for your state? Email automotivesilhouettes@gmail.com and we'll reply as soon as we can. If you're reporting a content problem, please include your state and the title of the rule or question.
How do I change my state?
Open the Settings tab and tap State. All rules, practice questions and penalties update to match the state you choose.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Every rule, sign and practice question is stored in the app, so you can study without a connection. Opening your state's official handbook PDF does require internet, because it's hosted on the state's own website.
Where do the rules come from?
Each state's content is taken from that state's official driver handbook published by its DMV, DOT or equivalent agency. You can open the original handbook from the Drivers Handbook button on the Studies screen.
Are the practice tests the real DMV test?
No. They are practice questions written from your state's official handbook to help you study. The real examination is administered by your state DMV and its questions are not published.
I think a rule is out of date or incorrect.
Please email us with the state and the rule title. Traffic law changes, and we'd rather hear about it. Always confirm details with your state DMV before relying on them.
Does the app collect my data?
No personal information is collected โ there's no account and no sign-up. See our Privacy Policy for details.
